The visitor center at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation area is a 30-minute drive from downtown Las Vegas. The $23 million green facility is operated by the Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Land Management, who cares for nearly 197,000 acres of the Mojave desert that the conservation area encompasses. It is an exceptional indoor-outdoor exhibit area offering a treasure trove of breathtaking views, little surprises, and hands-on discoveries in durable iZone Custom High Pressure Laminate (CHPL). In a series of paths and shade pavilions totaling 44,000 square feet of exhibits, visitors are invited to explore this rugged, yet beautiful and fragile land of extremes.
