African American Heritage

The Heritage Interpretive Sign project, at Beach to Bay Heritage Area, is a significant initiative aimed at preserving and celebrating the rich history of African American communities on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. The interpretive signs, strategically installed throughout the charming town of Berlin, provide a visual and educational journey through the history of African Americans in the region. This endeavor was made possible through the collaboration of several talented professionals who brought their expertise and passion to the project.

iZone Imaging played a crucial role in the fabrication of the durable and engaging sign panels. The design of the interpretive signage was led by Jill Jasuta, a talented designer based in Cambridge, Maryland.
