Glen Park Pavilion

Historic Glen Park is located in River Falls, Wisconsin. Founded in 1898, the park has more than 40 acres of lush scenery and includes a swimming pool, playground, and pickle ball courts. In 2019, a multipurpose pavilion was built and quickly became a focal point of Glen Park. This provided the opportunity to share the park’s history with the local community. In collaboration with ISG Inc, the Historic Preservation Committee (HPC), and the City of River Falls created a display sharing the history of Glen Park.

The HPC, in consultation with the city Park and Recreation Board, reviewed and selected photos from several sources. The HPC reviewed drafts of the project through design and installation. City Public Works staff coordinated the installation of the panels and nameplates. Installed in the summer of 2021, the historical display creates a sense of place and a link to the past for its visitors. The city used iZone’s High Pressure Laminate for the signs to ensure park goers can enjoy the park’s history for many years.

“We enjoyed the working relationships throughout the project with our many partners and appreciate the workmanship displayed by iZone Imaging and their staff. We would use them again on future projects!”
