Case Study | Faust Park

Tucked away in Chesterfield, Missouri, Faust Park is home to a captivating collection of more than a dozen preserved historic buildings that offer a vivid glimpse into the area’s 19th-century heritage. Now, thanks to the installation of new interpretive signage, visitors to the park’s Historic Village in St. Louis County can explore this rich history in an even more immersive way.

These newly installed panels share in-depth historical context, compelling stories, and striking visuals that bring to life the daily experiences of early residents. From the bustling blacksmith shop to the timeless charm of a general store, each sign deepens the visitor experience by connecting the buildings to the people who once inhabited them.

This enhancement project was made possible by the generous support of the St. Louis County Parks Foundation, whose fundraising efforts funded the design and installation of the panels. The Foundation’s ongoing dedication to education and preservation continues to enrich the cultural offerings of St. Louis County Parks.

The panels were expertly fabricated by iZone Imaging, a leader in high-quality, durable signage solutions. Constructed with custom high-pressure laminate (CHPL), the signs feature vivid graphics designed to endure the elements, ensuring they remain a vibrant and lasting part of Faust Park’s landscape for years to come.

Thanks to the collaborative efforts of the St. Louis County Parks Foundation and iZone Imaging, the stories of Faust Park’s Historic Village are now more accessible, engaging, and enduring—for visitors of all ages.
